Day to day duties will include the following:
•To carry out scheduled and preventative activities on all machines within the factory
•To attend any breakdowns as and when they arise and complete the repair ensuring production demands are not compromised
•To maintain an adequate stock of key spares to ensure machine downtime is at a minimum
•To complete maintenance request forms and update the maintenance system in accordance with our TS16949 requirements
•To ensure the Health and Safety of himself and colleagues is
maintained as part of the maintenance routine
•To participate in Continuous Improvement Activities
•Any other duties deemed reasonably practical by the Management
As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:
•Experienced Maintenance Engineer
•Good knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical/Electronic systems
•Good knowledge with a variety of equipment including Tube bending machines, end formers, cut off machines and deburrers.
