UK based global leader in the manufacture of heat exchangers and power train cooling products for the vehicle, marine, defence, aerospace and power generation industries.
Recent, substantial capital investment has resulted in a period of sustained growth and an exciting opportunity has arisen for a CNC Programmer Setter Operator to join our team

Key Responsibilities:
_CNC programming and setting experience is ESSENTIAL(Fanuc controls)
_Ability to understand interpret engineering drawings
_Able to use a wide variety of measuring equipment
_Maintain a safe working environment ensuring all company procedures are followed
_Commitment, dedication and willingness to succeed and progress is a must

As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:
_Strong knowledge of the equipment within a machine shop, experience of manufacturing precision parts to tight tolerances on CNC machines, lathes and millers.
_The ability to program both driven Y, C axis lathes and more essentially vertical milling machine centres.
_Ideally have experience of both turning and milling on manual machines and demonstrate hands on capability.
_Excellent communication skills and a proactive team player
_Knowledge of CMM machines particularly Faro would be an advantage
_Knowledge and understanding of Fanuc control systems
_Ability to set and operate as required.
_Knowledge of TPM programs an advantage
_Ability to provide solutions to decrease cycle times and overcome day to day machining issues.
