Day to day duties will include the following:
•Responsible for the day to day running of the CNC Milling machining centres (up to 3 axis)
•CNC Turning experience an advantage
•Programming, setting and operating using Heidenhain & Fanuc controls
•Experience in producing small one-off batches
•Good knowledge of engineering mathematics
•Working with the following materials; steels, stainless steel, Inconel
As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:
•Five years' experience using Heidenhain control both machining centres and lathes
•Experience using Fanuc would be a bonus
•Tool-room experience e.g. grinding and calculating speeds and feeds for different materials and applications would be a distinct advantage
•We are looking for someone that can come in and hit the floor running
