Job Description

Our client are a world leader in advanced materials development and production. They are seeking a Toolmaker for their busy operations.

Day to day duties will include the following:

•Service, repair (strip down, clean, lubricate and rebuild) tooling and support new project tooling from commissioning stages through to start of production (Essential)
•Manufacture new tooling and ancillary spares (Essential)
•Ensure that company targets are met and quality standards maintained (Essential)

As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:

•Previous experience of repairing, building and modifying tooling (Essential)
•Apprenticeship or equivalent in an engineering discipline (Essential)
•Confident and experienced in working with bench fitting, turning, milling, surface grinding, cylindrical grinding, drilling, welding and brazing (Essential)
•Wire/ Spark eroding (Advantageous)
•Knowledge of ceramic powder compaction tooling (Advantageous)
