Recent expansion has led to the need for a CNC Miller Programmer Setter Operator

Day to day duties will include the following:
•CNC operator/setter + hand/bench work
•Running vertical 3 Axis machining centres with Siemens controls (programming offline)
•Producing mainly steel prototype Tools for the automotive sector
•Experience on DUGARD CNC Milling machines an ADVANTAGE
•Experience on HAAS Milling CNC machines an ADVANTAGE
•Bench Toolmaking Background an ADVANTAGE
Experience
•Tool setting, CNC operating and setting up machines
•Using a DTI and Renishaw probe system + using Siemens controls
•Automotive background is an aid/advantage
•Forklift Licence but is not essential
•Experience in programming is also an advantage.

A well-established, family run presswork business with vast experience in producing stampings and assemblies is looking to recruit for a Quality Manager to support their in-house quality function. You will spearhead quality excellence and take full ownership of the Quality Management Systems.

The Role:

You will lead and manage a team of 3 Quality professionals whilst maintaining customer relations and improving quality systems. Key responsibilities include ensuring product excellence and adherence to Quality standards and championing a `right-first-time` ethos across the business.

Day to day duties will include the following:

•Full ownership of the Quality Management Systems.
•Leading all quality related issues.
•Management of both internal and external audit schedules.
•Maintenance of the quality system, including all documents required (quality records, drawings, specifications, supplier documents).
•Working with customers, internal, and supplier concerns using disciplined problem-solving methods (8D / 5Y).
•Setting and maintaining KPI's.

As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:

•Minimum of 2-3 years in a similar quality role within the automotive supply chain in a Tier 1 supplier capacity. (Essential)
•Be able to demonstrate successful introduction / maintenance of Quality Operating Systems ISO 9001 and TS16949/IATF16949. (Essential)
•Understanding of engineering drawings and understand dimensional characteristics, tolerances and metric / imperial units. (Essential)
•TS16949/IATF16949 auditor (Advantageous)
•Working knowledge of APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP. (Essential)
•Experience using CMM. (Advantageous)
•Experience working within ISO14001. (Advantageous)

I am recruiting for a motorsport client who are currently looking to recruit for a CNC Programmer Setter/Operator. As the CNC Programmer Setter/Operator you must possess the ability to Program online & offline.

Day to day duties will include the following:
•To write and prove out programs
•To carry out both milling duties
•To plan and implement the methodology of producing the relevant components
•To set and operate machines, when no programming is required (Milling)
•For the successful candidate this may lead to the position of section leader

FOLLOWING QUALITIES AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
_At least 3 years' experience CNC Programming using Fanuc & Heidenhain - Essential
_Milling experience - Essential
_A general knowledge of tooling requirements, speeds, feeds etc - Essential
_The ability to use offline CAD systems - Essential
