They are currently looking to recruit a CNC Turner Programmer to join the company at this exciting time of growth.

Role and Responsibilities:
• Must have experience programming CNC Victor Lathes with Fanuc language controls.
• Experience with Victor model and Doosan Lathes with Fanuc controls is beneficial.
• Experience in the production of one-off to 5k batches of fasteners would be advantageous.
• Must be able write programmes from customer drawing/specifications.
• Be willing to set machines in addition to writing the programmes.
• Be able to conduct first off quality inspection where appropriate.
• Be able to ensure that batches are produced at a consistent quality for the duration of the run.
• Immediate starts available.

Quality Engineer

Salary: c33,000 - 36,000 per annum

My client is one of the world's leading heat exchanger manufacturers, with ISO 9001:2015 certification and a UK manufacturing plant. An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quality Engineer to join the quality department based at their site in the West Midlands.

Quality Engineer Role Overview:

As the Quality Engineer you will be required to manage and maintain the ISO9001:2015 quality management system. You will also be required to maintain quality procedures, processes and documentation in relation to the quality management system.

Quality Engineer Specific Skills and Experience:

• Experience in managing and maintaining the ISO9001:2015 quality management system (Essential)
• Knowledge of the implementation of ISO9001:2015 (Essential)
• A solid understanding of manufacturing processes and shop floor practices (Essential)
• Proficiency in goods inward and despatch inspection (Essential)
• Conversant in utilising measuring equipment (callipers, micrometers, gauges) (Essential)
• Proficient in understanding technical drawings including GD&T (Essential)
• Experienced in utilising 8D, 5why problem resolution methods (Essential)
• Conversant in successfully resolving internal, supplier and customer rejects through utilising root cause analysis / corrective and preventative actions (Essential)
• Experience in carrying out internal and supplier audits (Essential)
• Appreciation of CNC machining, assembly and testing processes (Desirable)
• Experience of using CMM or Faro arm (Desirable)
• Computer system literate excel, work, power point, standard industry packages (Essential)

Certification / QA Technician

Salary: 20,000 - 25,000 per annum

My client who is a world leader in forging and engineering is looking to recruit a Certification / QA Technician to join their Test House facility.

Reporting to the Test House Manager you will be tasked with providing customer certifications along with carrying out stamp testing activities for test piece identification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compile customer certification to facilitate the sale of goods in a timely and accurate manner.
• Liaise with IACS surveyors to complete certifications to customer requirements.
• Stamp/ identify test pieces.
• Conduct basic contract reviews to facilitate accurate customer certification.
• Liaise with customers in a professional manner on certification requirements.
• Learn basic mechanical testing for certification purposes.
• Deal with F.A.I.R. and Concessions for customer orders.
• Provide technical support to production and commercial teams on any aspect of documentation.
• Provide support during customer and third-party audits (BSI, Lloyds, BAE etc.).
• Work and adhere to HSE and Environment guidelines.

Key Requirements:

• Experienced in producing accurate and timely certification packs to customer requirements (Essential)
• Possess a good understanding of manufacturing processes (Essential)
• Proficient in understanding drawing requirements and technical specifications (Essential)
• Experienced in working closely with shop floor, management, customers and visiting IACS surveyors ensuring documentation is accurate and on time (Essential)
• Proficiency in supporting customer and third-party audits (BSI, Lloyds, BAE) (Essential)
• Conversant in working and adhering to HSE and Environment guidelines (Essential)
• Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office - Word / Excel (Essential)
