Our Client specialise in precision and production engineering as well as prototype work using our CNC Milling and Turning machines and conventional machines. The services they offer have now been enhanced by the addition of a 'WIRE CUT - EDM' machine.
The machine is computer numerically controlled with a capacity of which is 950 X 600 X 310 mm.



A Programmer/Setter/Operator required for CNC Machining Centre with Fanuc control, 3 & 4 axis machine. Applicant must be able to program with minimum 5 years programming experience.

Good rates of pay, NEST Pension Scheme, 33 days holiday.

Overtime when available at time and a half.

Our Client mainly deals with one off & small batch quantities.

Our Client based in Upton on Severn are a supplier to the funeral industry and have a vacancy for a wood working operative. This is a well established successful business with a high demanding customer base. Standard hours are a 39hr working week Monday to Thursday 7am to 3.45pm and Fridays 7am to 2.45pm with a daily 15 minute morning break and half an hour lunch break both unpaid.There will be a requirement to work overtime as and when required by the business.
The flexible role will involve working within a traditional factory processing different types of wood and operating various wood working equipment.There is some lifting involved with this position. CNC experience would be very useful.
Successful applicants must have manufacturing/industrial experience.Due to the location they will also need transport.

As a trainee commissioning and service engineer you will train to install, commission, service and repair company products at customer premises, maintaining relationships with customers and salesmen.

Reporting to the Project/Site Manager you will be responsible for the safe and efficient installation, maintenance and repair of cooling units. Travel, international work and regular absences from home are important part of the job.

Key Responsibilities

-Respond in a professional manner to all assigned service calls
-Investigate diagnose and repair faults. Report any critical issues immediately to the Project/Site Manager.
-Read, understand all and comply with all procedures within the Employee Handbook and site policy
-Perform all works in a safe manner in line with the company H&S manual
-Keep the Project/Site Manager informed on schedule of works and status of all open jobs
-Ensure spare parts are accounted for and reported to the service manager (this should form part of site policy)
-Paperwork and reports to be submitted in a timely manner following all company procedures (Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of work carried out to enable traceability)
-Ensure the client is informed of the works carried out at their premises (Ensure professional and effective flow of information with clients and other team members)
