Day to day duties will include the following:
• Ability to accurately interpret and work from engineering drawings to BS / ISO standards.
• Must have experience operating and setting CNC Lathes.
• Experience with Delcam Powermill software.
• Experience in working with one off's.
• Must be able to work from technical drawings.
• Be able to conduct first off quality inspection

Salary: 28,000 - 30,000 p.a. + benefits


The Role

The Quality Engineer will be required to report to the Quality Manager in handling the day to day duties as required. The successful candidate will also be required to possess a general knowledge of environmental and health & safety.

Responsibilities will include:

Reviewing quality issues with shift Quality Controller and Production staff, conduct product process audits on parts and submitting quality reports.
Attending weekly quality improvement meetings whilst presenting continuous improvement recommendations.
Conducting PPAP, control plans, gauge studies, process flows diagram & process capability studies for new and existing parts.
Reviewing and amending failure mode & effects analysis (FMEA) and support the project team with all new business.
Formulating action plans to investigate and analyse customer returns to ensure customer satisfaction and prevent future failures.
Raising internal 8D's as appropriate.


The successful candidate for the Quality Engineers position will have the following:

2 - 3 years Quality Engineering experience - ESSENTIAL
