Time served CNC Miller
for a busy Redditch based Toolmaking Company.
Low volume, Small precision components.
Must be skilled in all aspects of CNC work (Programming/Setting/Operating)
Able to work to tight tolerances from engineering drawings.
To work mainly on a 3 axis XYZ CNC Mini mill, programming offline from 3D models/step files & online using a Siemens Sinumerik controller through to manufacturing/inspecting the part. Also using various 2/3 axis CNC milling machines using conversational programming on Proto-trak & Acurite controllers through to manufacturing/inspecting the part.
Knowledge of CAD/CAM, programming online/offline & from 3D models/Step files would be an advantage.
We are currently using Bob-Cad software which we will be replacing shortly. The new person to be involved with the selection & integration of any new system.
Knowledge of Siemens/Proto-trak/Acurite systems would be an advantage but not essential.
Permanent days. Good rates of pay.

Please bear in mind that he doesn't have to be time served, but I wanted to emphasize the fact that we need an experienced CNC person

Holidays - 25 days + 8 days bank or public holidays (33 days total)
Wages - Up to 15.35 per hour. (32K)
Sickness scheme after a 12-month qualifying period.
All overtime paid at time and one half.

Quality Inspector

This role involves working in a small team within a subcontract machining company serving a wide range of industries including motorsport, aerospace and defence.

With a right first time philosophy and a flexible and efficient approach to the task at hand. You shall be working with Mitutoyo coordinate measuring machines both setting and operating to meet the increasing demands of our continued growth in our machining section.

The Candidate

The successful candidate will be fully proficient in mechanical measuring skills, as well as the use of CMM. A clear understanding of engineering drawings and geometric tolerances is a requirement. Knowledge of geometry would be an advantage.

The ability to work individually and as part of a team to maximise the challenges this position offers is essential.

Experienced CNC Turner required able to programme, set and operate Fanuc turning machines. Toolroom type work to fine tolerances. Low volume and varied work in small friendly workshop. Dayshift, 39 hours per week and Overtime available.
