Job Description

Our client is a world renowned manufacturer of water hose and sprinkler products. They require an Injection Mould Technician for their busy operations.

Day to day duties will include the following:
•Responsible for establishing the setting parameters of new mould tools to budgeted cycle times and material weight (Essential)
•Responsible for maintaining all equipment on injection mould processes including tools and ancillary equipment (Essential)
•Responsible that all injection mould process are running efficiently when in production run mode (Essential)
•Responsible for the maintenance of all company setting for all processes and robots (Essential)
•Carry out quality checks and ensure maintenance of a safe working environment (Essential)
•Ensure all company procedures, paperwork and methods adhered to and are kept up to date (Essential)
•Responsible for KPI's : OEE, efficiency, quality and conformance (Essential)
•Identify equipment not fit for purpose (Essential)
As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:
•Have experience of setting and monitoring injection moulding processes (Essential)
•A good mechanical knowledge (Essential)
•Must have a positive and a good temperament able to deal with difficult situations (Essential)
•Must be able to embrace a continuous improvement culture (Essential)
•Works effectively with others (Essential)
