Job Description

Our client are a world leader in the manufacture of iron casting and plastic moulding products into the plumbing and sanitaryware sector. They require a Supply Chain Manager for their busy operations.

Day to day duties will include the following:
•Responsible for the procurement, delivery and warehousing of materials, inventory control and distribution of finished goods (Essential)
•Managing operations to ensure goods are available to meet customer requirements (Essential)
•To forecast demand, analysing inventory and troubleshooting issues that could affect supplies (Essential)
•Managing the resources of the company in the most effective and efficient way possible (Essential)

As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:
•Experienced in managing a supply chain process and operations (Essential)
•Experienced in inventory control/management and quality systems (Essential)
•Previous experience of managing a team effectively (Essential)
•Knowledge of systems building / understanding (Essential)
•Some oversees supply experience and able to travel overseas where required (Essential)
•Strong negotiation skills and a can do attitude (Essential)
•Experience within the sanitaryware/plumbing products desirable (Advantageous)
