_To ensure all label controls within the Print Room are adhered to at all times.
_To ensure that all label stocks are maintained to their optimum levels at all times
_To ensure that labels are made available to the Pack House in a timely fashion.
_To liaise with the Production Manager/Supervisor/On line QC with regards to their label supply requirements.
_To ensure accurate & clear printing of labels at all times
_To ensure D + Sheets are read accurately and are fully understood.
_To attend and participate in relevant meetings.
_To record, manage & control all waste generated within the Print Room.
_To ensure all equipment is fully operational and to deal with defects immediately.
_Ensure that equipment is regularly serviced as per contract.
_To ensure all staff rosters complement the requirements of the business.
_Maintain a concise & accurate label database to prevent printing errors.
_To participate in compiling label printing procedures for reference & use by the printing team.
_To ensure that the Print Room Administrators receive actual and provisional orders.
_To ensure that the Print Room Administrators complete orders correctly.
_To ensure that all label check sheets are correctly checked and signed.
_To ensure that labels are printed in a timely order.
_To ensure that Daily Label Order sheets are completed.
_To ensure that label handover procedure are adhered to.
_To supervise attendance, timekeeping & work performance of all Print Room staff.
_To participate, deliver and manage training & development requirements.
_To manage a team including holidays, disciplines and return to work interviews.
_To manage the design database.
_To ensure segregation and management of labels
_To correctly set and supervise voltage settings on label printers.
_To carry out test prints and report any breakdown or loss of expected quality.
_To ensure that all printers are maintained and cleaned including printer heads.
_To ensure that any chemicals are correctly used and stored.
_To ensure a sufficient stock of labels is printed to cover production orders and to cover days off.
_To adhere to all aspects of the company hygiene policy and all operational procedures.

Operations Administrator

Key Responsibilities:
? Carry out daily administrative tasks relating to hourly paid operations staff as required by the Operations ensuring that all administration remains filed (electronically and manually), up to date and accurate.
? Generate operational KPI's and produce statistical data, daily , weekly and periodically as required.
? Hold H&S inductions and assist in investigations ensuring that company staff are aware of scheduling and that all logistical requirements are met.
? Ensure that all operational training tasks carried out are identified by a clearly defined Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) reference in regards to quality and H & S.
? Ensure that SOPs are written, referenced, authorised and communicated to Line Manager.
? Ensure that all SOPs in use are the current version and that any replaced SOP is suitably archived.
? Ensure that all training carried out is recorded and that this record is available.
? Update all training and personal records and make them available for any customer or third party auditor as required.
? Regularly review and update training materials to meet the needs of the operation.
? Ensure that all training data is retrievable and accessible to nominated staff including by fully utilising company shared computer drives and IT systems.
? Ensure that all aspects of training and development are recorded with consideration to future accreditation to IIP and ISO standards.
? Support the Line Manager with ad hoc daily duties as required.
? Compile and produce KPI reports as required.
? Update packing costs and send regular reports to internal stakeholders
? Create and maintain managers purchase orders and ensure they are signed and submitted to accounts
? Conduct regular packhouse checks with supervisors to ensure hygiene standards are being met.
? Attending meetings and taking minutes of meeting with the Head of Operations
? Using ERP system to produce a weekly forecast report to check relevance of forecast customer order verses the actual orders
