Job title:Service Engineer

Salary:24,000 - 32,000

Our client provide regular servicing for all types of electrical equipment and motors. A regular maintenance scheme ensures that the equipment is safe and is working to its maximum efficiency. A regular service contract ensures that the mean time between failure rates is kept as low as possible and it can avoid costly disruption to production.

Join us and you will be responsible for maintaining, repair and servicing a range of contracts at customer locations with minimal supervision. Providing reports on the condition and repairs carried out, you won't just focus on the nuts and bolts.

About you
• NVQ or higher in Mechanical, Electrical or similar.
• GCSE or equivalent - English and Maths.
• A full UK driving license is required.
• 17th Edition
• Experience of having worked as a Service Engineer or in a field based technical support role would be an advantage but not essential.
• Passionate about providing a first class service to our customers.
• Strong communication skills both verbally and written, with the versatility to communicate at all levels in a clear and concise manner.
• A professional approach to your work and communication with colleagues and customers.
• Good organisational skills with an eye for detail and the ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks.

You will be responsible for producing flawless technical drawings for a number of high end bespoke projects, within the required timescales. The successful candidate will have experience in drawing joinery, metalwork and other media products on creative projects.
Role and Responsibilities
• Proficient in the use of Solidworks is essential.
• Knowledge of Rhino software and AutoCAD is desirable.
• Produce accurate detailed working drawings.
• Work within a team to deliver drawings for production / installation.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Supporting the delivery of all assigned projects and meeting deadlines.
• Strong emphasis on supporting delivery for production and the Project Management team.
General
• Experience in the shop-fitting / retail / point of sale sector/ industrial design using SolidWorks.
• Be comfortable working under pressure, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of woodwork, metalwork, composites and acrylics.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
• Use of Solidworks 3D, Rhino and AutoCAD as needed.
• Microsoft Office software including Project.

The Role

The successful candidate will join the business, and will design a variety of infrastructure schemes as well as
liaising with clients in the following disciplines:
• Highway design (S38 / S278) both preliminary and detailed.
• Drainage design (S104 / S98) both strategic and detailed.
• Design of foul pumping stations, SUDS, flow control structures and balancing facilities.
• Residential and commercial external works design including earthworks assessments.
