Day to day duties will include the following:
• Experience Programmimg on CNC Lathes HAAS CNC,Star SR32 Setteing /Operating
• Programmer setter operator with strong background knowledge of TURNING
• Programming for at least 5 years
• Fastener experience a BONUS

As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:
• Able to Set and operator CNC machinery to produce parts and inspect to the required standard.
• Flexible, positive approach with a can-do attitude.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Fanuc control experience
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.

They are designers and manufacturers of high quality architectural hardware in a variety of materials and finishes. Their products are found fitted to hotels, offices, schools and other public buildings, restoration projects, royal palaces and private houses around the world.

They are looking for an experienced CNC sliding head lathe setter to work on their CNC machining section. You must have experience and be confident at setting, adjusting and operating Citizen sliding head lathes.

The role will include:

Complete mechanical set up of the machines for small batch runs
Reading manufacturing drawings and understanding dimensional tolerances
Measurement of machined parts and adjustment of offsets to ensure the accuracy of the finished components
Monitoring of part quality throughout production runs
Cleanliness and housekeeping on the section
It is important that you can integrate well into a team, follow instruction and are meticulous in your approach to accuracy and quality.

Working hours will be 0745-1645 Monday to Thursday (lunch break 1245-1315 plus paid am/pm break), and Friday 0745-1245.

Holiday entitlement is 25 days + bank holidays.

We have ample car parking available in our private car park on site. We are also within walking distance of Birmingham New Street train station.

Immediate start available.

Workforce are recruiting for a CAD Designer - offering a starting salary between £22,000 - £25,000 DOE, the chance to work in a fast paced industry creating bespoke products, the chance to develop your skills in a unique industry, and flexible start/finish times - to work for a fabrication company in the Birmingham area. It is important for you to have an open mind and the will to learn new skills in a unique, fast-paced industry.
Role and Responsibilities
•    Experience with the use of AutoCAD for both 2D and 3D designs.
•    Knowledge and experience working within a steel fabrication industry is essential.
•    Break down drawings into individual components to be cut and fabricated from sheet metal.
•    Provide customer support when needed.
General
•    Understand material properties and production methods, have technical, practical and scientific knowledge.
•    To be able to use drawings, 3D models and computer designs to demonstrate creative ideas surrounding the Customers' requirements.
•    Be comfortable to explain ideas and technical data to colleagues who may not be from a technical function within the business.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
•    Use of AutoCAD 2D and 3D software.
•    Microsoft Office software.
•    5 GCSE's or equivalent, including A*-C: Maths, English and Science
