This job is for an experienced Bench Hand Joiner to work on a day shift in Coventry. Standard hours are 7.30 - 16.00, overtime is available daily, and throughout the weekend.


Day to day duties will include the following:

As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:
• Experienced Bench Hand Joiner who is confident with a variety of woods, and the ability to work to technical drawings.

I am currently recruiting for a privately-owned tier 1 supplier of metal components into the automotive, defence and aerospace industries. Due to continued growth they are looking to recruit for a Supplier Quality Engineer. As the Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be the first point of contact for all customer concerns, ensuring prompt and robust containment is implemented internally and at customer sites.

Day to Day responsibilities:
• Monitoring of performance trends (PPM, scrap, rework etc.)
• Owns the process for completing 8D/PPS for customer concerns, has excellent problem-solving skills to ensure any corrective actions taken are correctly implemented to ensure repeat concerns do not occur.
• Update process control plans and inspect instructions in line with any issues.
• Complete product and process audits and monitor corrective actions required.
• Maintain 5s standards within the Quality areas whilst supporting the businesses continuous improvement programmes.
• Raising and monitoring on supplier concerns.
The successful candidate for the Supplier Quality Engineers position will have the following experience:
• Previous experience working within a Supplier Quality role - Essential
• Educated to HNC or equivalent within a relevant engineering discipline - Desirable
• Lean manufacturing and six sigma experiences - Desirable
• Experience with PFMEA & DFMEA documentation - Essential

Workforce are recruiting for a CAD Technician - offering a starting salary of 29,000 - 32,000 DOE and an 08:00 - 17:00 working day- to work for a small local bespoke Architectural Metalwork company in the Coventry area. You will be taking the reins of all design work for this company and will have the ability to work on a variety of projects and scopes.
Role and Responsibilities
• Using Structural Detailing software such as Autodesk Advance Steel.
• Progress drawing projects, including design/modification sign-off as required.
• Previous experience in a fabrication environment or strong fabrication knowledge is essential.
• Provide customer support when needed.
• Undertake site visits when needed.
General
• Understand alternative materials and production methods, have technical, practical and scientific knowledge.
• To be able to use drawings, 3D models and computer designs to express creative ideas.
• To be able to produce clear, concise written reports.
• Be comfortable to explain ideas and technical data to colleagues who may not be from a technical function within the business.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
• Use Autodesk Advance Steel
• Microsoft Office software.
• 5 GCSE's or equivalent, including A*-C: Maths, English and Science
• HND or higher in Engineering - Mechanical, Civil or Structural
• Previous Fabrication experience.

You will be responsible for the inspection, testing and product evaluation of components, sub-assemblies and complete assemblies for automotive and aerospace industries, ensuring that no defective parts are released to the customer.
Quality Control Inspector Key Requirements:

To be considered for the Quality Control Inspector role you will possess the following:
• Possess a strong background in automotive / aerospace engineering / manufacturing (Essential)
• Experience of Faro Arm - portable coordinate measuring machine (Essential)
• CMM experience with PC-DMIS software (Essential)
