Job title: Quality Technician - Romer Arm 
Location: Coventry
Salary: Up to £15 an hour
Shift: Days
Start: ASAP

We are currently recruiting for a Quality Technician with Romer Arm experience. This is a fantastic time to join a well-established and rapidly expanding automotive manufacturer based in Coventry. 

The role:

Complete ISIR Reports for a variety of automotive customers
Approve First off parts for production runs
Complete Gauge R&R Approval
Calibrate Gauges in line with plan


Day to day duties will include the following:

Measurement of parts in line with the planning Log
Evaluation of parts at various manufacturing stages to confirm if part is to required specification
Maintains 5S standards within the Quality areas, supports the company continuous improvement programme
Generating ISIR reports in line with customer requirements

As a person you will need the following qualities and experience: 

Experience working with Romer Arm - Polyworks Software (Essential)
Experience working in a manufacturing environment (Essential)
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings (Essential)
Able to use standard measuring equipment (Vernier, micrometre, height gauge, etc.)
Understanding of basic SPC techniques

Day to Day duties will include the following:
MIG Welding on mild steel (essential)
Must have 3-4 years experience with fabrication to a coded level
As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:
* MIG (Essential)
* Knowledge of weld on mild steel (essential)
* Flexible to work extra hours were needed

Job title: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Coventry
Salary: 35,000 - 40,000 p.a.


I am currently recruiting for a well-established manufacturer of commercial and domestic flooring. Due to continued growth they are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their in-house Maintenance department. As the Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for carrying Planned, and reactive Maintenance projects.


Day to day duties will include the following:

• Carrying out work assignments issued by the Maintenance Manager whilst maximizing effectiveness of the shift at all times.
• Following all work instructions, procedures, and job descriptions at all times.
• Resolving mechanical/electrical problems in a timely fashion.
• Order spare parts as required on shift if unavailable from stock and contact contractors/suppliers as required to maintain the required standards.
• Ensuring all parts are removed from stores whilst on shift and are booked out of stores in the correct way.
• Identify and analyse problems before crises and determine appropriate action and follow-up.
• Working closely with production teams whilst liaising QA, Logistics and Warehouse as required.


As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:

• Electrical bias ideally with 17th edition (Desirable)
• working within a Manufacturing environment (Essential
• Ability to read and understand engineering diagram (Essential)
• Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic & Pneumatic (Essential)
