An opportunity has become available for a Trainee Engineer to join an expanding team within a busy Malvern company.
Day to Day duties will include the following:
* Travel to customer sites and carry out calibration and servicing on various makes & models of weighing equipment, from a small laboratory balance up to a weigh bridge.
* Covering the North Birmingham, West & East Midlands area
* Assist with repairs at the Head office in Malvern
* Take part in projects for clients involving R&D work with prototypes
* Carry out installation of new goods that include setting up and calibration
* Using sales opportunities to up sell products to clients in return for a good commission
Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
* PLC programming experience & a sound knowledge of all aspects of Comms (Essential)
* PC literate in Word/Excel and Windows programs (Essential)
* Apprenticeship in either an electrical or mechanical discipline or having previously worked in a technology/manufacturing environment (Essential)
* A Full UK driver's license (Essential)
* To be able to deal directly customers in a professional manner (Essential)
* Applicants must be able to work independently or as part of a team (Essential)
* Safely handle and carry weights up to 20kgs (Essential)

Workforce are recruiting for an experienced CAD Designer - offering a starting salary truly reflective on experience, the chance to run a busy design desk, and flexible start/finish times - to work for a well-established manufacturing company in the Malvern area. It is important for you to have worked within a furniture/kitchen manufacturing environment.
Role and Responsibilities
•    Experience with the use of IMOS design package is essential
•    Knowledge and experience working within a joinery company would be advantageous. 
•    Creating and maintaining the IMOS database for the company's entire product portfolio.
•    Set up the front-end aspects of the software so that it can be used for sales specifications, pricing/quotations and ensuring all units comply with manufacturing requirements.
General
•    Understand material properties and production methods, have technical, practical and scientific knowledge.
•    To be able to use drawings, 3D models and computer designs to demonstrate creative ideas surrounding the Customers' requirements.
•    Be comfortable to explain ideas and technical data to colleagues who may not be from a technical function within the business.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
•    Use of IMOS software is essential.
•    Microsoft Office software.
•    5 GCSE's or equivalent, including A*-C: Maths, English and Science
•    Knowledge or experience of joinery is advantageous
