A position has become available for an experienced workshop machine fitter to carry out modifications to electric motors.
Day to Day duties will include the following:
Modifications to electric motors, including mechanical fitting of flanges and fitting of small electrical components inside electric motors (Essential)
Use of cranes and compressed air tools for movement and fitting of components (Essential)
Updating completed modifications on excel (Essential)
Replaing electric motors using programmable software and stamping machines (Essential)

I am recruiting for an Tier 1 supplier into the automotive industry who are currently looking to recruit for a CMM Programmer. As the CMM Programmer you will be responsible for writing and editing programs using QCT (quality control technology) Software.

Day to day duties will include the following:
• To write and edit programs.
• Selecting suitable probes and attachments for the CMM to ensure accurate and efficient measurement of components.
• Generating clear and concise CMM reports which display all customer and manufacturing required outputs.
• Analysing CMM reports and communicating any non-conforming measured features and features which are moving towards the limits of tolerances.

• To build high pressure, reciprocating compressor blocks of various sizes within the designated time frames, to high standards.
• Build a wide variety of sub-assemblies for compressors and aftermarket use.
• To build custom engineered compressor sets with limited instruction.
• Accurately read and interpret general arrangement drawings, manuals and written instructions in order to produce a quality product.
• To record all relevant test results using computer software.
• Repair of the end product should final tests show area failures.
