Our client manufactures a wide range of Lamination & Encapsulation Machines and Films; including SuperStick for digital output. As innovators of the thermal lamination process. They are looking for a Service Engineer to assist with their customer queries.

• The Ideal candidate should have:-
• Electrical or Mechanical knowledge
• Experience in PLC's
• Experience in Pneumatics
• Have a recognised Engineering qualification
• 17th Edition regulations
• Must be computer illiterate and able to self-manage

The successful candidate will have a fully expensed company car, company credit card.
UK and some overseas travel will be required
25'000 per annum + overtime & commission

HGV Mechanic position
As one of our small team of HGV mechanics your main responsibility will be to carry out maintenance and repairs on our mixed fleet of HGVs, trailers and on our fork lift trucks. Along with general repairs you will also carry out safety inspections, MOT preparation and presentation, and recovery work.
Our maintenance workshop is operational between Monday and Friday, and you will be expected to work a rotating shift pattern between the hours of 6.00 a.m. and 10.00 p.m. Competitive rates of pay are offered.
We are looking for a qualified mechanic (C&G or NVQ or similar) and must hold HGV Class 1 licence, digi and CPC.
Key responsibilities HGV Mechanic:
• Undertaking all service inspections/maintenance work as required in order that the vehicles are compliant with all Ministry of Transport regulations and in compliance with our 'O' Licence obligations.
• Ensuring that all relevant paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner, to enable accurate and 'up-to-date' computer records are available always, with special regard to defects and servicing.
• Work in a safe manner and in compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
Key Skills & Experience of a HGV Mechanic:
• Previous experience in a workshop
• Able to listen and take instruction
• Use your own initiative
• High standard of work
• Great understanding of Health and Safety Requirements
• Able to work within a small team
• Trustworthy and reliable

OVERVIEW

Our Birmingham based client are looking to take on a skilled CNC Turning & Milling setter/operator to join the team. This is an exciting time for the company with as they are about to move into larger premises due to continued growth.

The company specialise in manufacturing components and assemblies for various industries including aerospace, automotive and defence.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Setting and operating CNC Lathes using Fanuc controls
• Setting and operating CNC Millers using Fanuc controls
• Ability to edit programs at the machine.

This is a day's based role working Monday - Thursday 7 - 5pm

Job Title: Toolmaker/ Manager
Reporting to: Factory Manager
Our client is looking for someone to design, manufacture and maintain tooling to support the production of cold pressed components
Daily duties:
• Design and manufacture tools to enable the production of presswork with hand presses, bowers and power presses
• Maintain tools to ensure continued production to drawing
• Assist with the production and maintenance of tooling for CNC machines
• Ensure adherence to stringent quality requirements and processes
• Work in collaboration with the production department to get the tooling set up for manufacture
• Use the ERP system to record hours logged as appropriate
• Work closely with the Quality department to ensure that product and associated paperwork are in line with the expectation
• Ensure workspace remains clean, tidy and safe at all times
• Actively participate in the companies continuous improvement initiatives
• Assist the sales office with method of manufacture and timings for customer quotations
• Work closely with colleagues and the Factory Manager in order to ensure production deadline are adhered to
• Undertake any other reasonable activities as directed by the Factory Manager.

Qualifications/ Attributes/ Experiences.
Mandatory
• Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings
• Good knowledge of CAD packages
• Use of conventional machining and cutting equipment such as millers, lathes, grinders etc
• EDM operation
• Experienced in a range of materials in a tight tolerance environment
• Attention and passion for detail
• Demonstrable use of initiative
• Excellent communication skills
• Positive resilient attitude
• Continuous improvement advocate
Desired
