Job title: Tool Maker
Location: Stourport
Salary: up to 28,000 p.a. + Overtime on a Friday
Hours: Mon - Thursday 7am - 4pm

I am currently recruiting for a market leader of advanced materials development and production. Due to continued growth they are looking to recruit for a Toolmaker. As the Toolmaker you will be required to provide tooling for different sizes of machinery onsite.

Day to day duties will include the following:

• Service and repair tooling (strip down, clean, lubricate and rebuild)
• Support new project tooling from commissioning stages through to start of production
• Manufacture new tooling and ancillary spares
• Ensure company targets are met in respect of quality of parts produced

The successful candidate will need the following qualities and experience:
• This is a hands-on job requiring engineering skill levels to craft level or similar/higher
• Conversant with H&S rules, regulations and best practices
• Knowledge of manual handling
• Able to confidently work to engineering drawings
• Be confident and experienced in working with;
obench fitting,
oturning,
omilling,
osurface grinding
ocylindrical grinding
odrilling
owelding / brazing / silver soldering
oand be able to perform these tasks to a competent standard

Site Fitter / Mate
An experienced furniture installer
Driving license
Able to work away (full expenses paid)
CSCS card
Able to work with drawings
When no site work is available, to work in factory (probably on assembly)
This is a temp to perm position
This role has a flexible pay structure

Assembler
An experienced furniture assembler.
It can be physically demanding work, with moving of fully built furniture (e.g. wardrobes) manually.
Able to work from assembly drawings and instructions.
A lot of the work is basic repetitive tasks so verbal training will be given on these.
A Hatts Kitchen or possibly an exhibition / retail stand employee would be ideal.
This is a temp to perm position

Our client in Stourport is looking for a Skilled Machinist to join their team:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & REPONSIBILITIES:

Key Responsibilities:
* Machinist with experience in using general machine shop/tool room equipment eg; Centre Lathe, Milling Machine and other associated tool room equipment.
* Some knowledge of Grinding - surface/cylindrical would be advantageous (but not essential)
* Ability to work independently or as a team member
* Produce parts from drawings.
* Understanding the need to meet deadlines
* To inform the Team Leader or Production Manager immediately of any problem occurring during production.
* To maintain a clean, organised working environment which conforms to the relevant Health & Safety and environmental standard.
* To adhere to Company regulations, rules and procedures.
* To perform any other reasonable duties that may be required from time to time.
