Our client are a world leader in the manufacture of iron casting and plastic moulding products into the plumbing and sanitaryware sector. They require a Supply Chain Manager for their busy operations.

Day to day duties will include the following:
•Responsible for the procurement, delivery and warehousing of materials, inventory control and distribution of finished goods (Essential)
•Managing operations to ensure goods are available to meet customer requirements (Essential)
•To forecast demand, analysing inventory and troubleshooting issues that could affect supplies (Essential)
•Managing the resources of the company in the most effective and efficient way possible (Essential)

As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:
•Experienced in managing a supply chain process and operations (Essential)
•Experienced in inventory control/management and quality systems (Essential)
•Previous experience of managing a team effectively (Essential)
•Knowledge of systems building / understanding (Essential)
•Some oversees supply experience and able to travel overseas where required (Essential)
•Strong negotiation skills and a can do attitude (Essential)
•Experience within the sanitaryware/plumbing products desirable (Advantageous)

Workforce are recruiting for an Assembly Technician - offering an hourly rate to reflect your experience - to work for a long establish specialist engineering company based in Dudley. You will be building high precision electric motors.
Role and Responsibilities:
•Assembly and test of brushless DC motors-stators-generators-rotating sensors-general coil winding.
•Candidate should have experience of electro mechanical assembly (Mechatronics) ideally on small (less than 40Kw) motors or generators or electro mechanical assemblies.
•Ideally have experience of soldering-brazing-use of small hand tools-coil winding and coil insertion by hand or by machine.
•An understanding of basic electric motor theory and advantage as this will be useful when building assemblies from customer drawings and specifications.
•Typical products include electric motors/stators for Aerospace applications such as pumps and actuators for fuel-hydraulic systems and power generation.
•This is a hands on roll within a highly motivated technical team producing low-medium volume product from a newly created factory.
•General knowledge of motor manufacturing and test processes will be ideal although training and skill advancement will be provided.
•Prototype and pre-production work is important to us, so speed and attention to detail is critical.
•Attention to detail and a hands on focused approach are required in a small work cell building the product from the bottom up.
