Duties & Responsibilities:

•Collaborate with other managers to determine supply needs
•Purchase supplies and materials according to specifications
•Coordinate and supervise receiving and warehousing procedures
•Control inventory levels and ensure availability of material during emergencies
•Maintain relationships and negotiate with suppliers
•Keep detailed records on procurement activity, materials quantity, specifications etc.
•Assist in forecasting to plan future orders
•Work with the production office and assist with any other work to help the team
•Deliver continuous improvement in supplier delivery, quality and cost.
•Ensure timely receipt of materials to support the production schedule.
•Schedule material demands and work order completion dates in system to support production schedule.
•Proactively manage material and work order exceptions and provide feedback to Manufacturing & Project Management on critical information.
•Ensure accuracy of data in system including location, quantity on hand, value, etc.
•Ensure all customer orders are appropriately packaged and shipped promptly, accurately and with all necessary documentation.
•Ensure all outsource manufacturing is appropriately packaged and shipped promptly, accurately and with all necessary documentation.
•Identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
•Perform other duties as assigned to insure the efficiency of the company

Workforce are recruiting for a CNC Lathe Setter - offering a rotating day shift working between 06:00 - 14:00 and 14:00 - 22:00 with an early finish on Friday, and a starting rate of 11.62 - 12.91 DOE - to work for a local engineering company in the Wolverhampton area.
Roles and Responsibilities:
•Must have experience in setting 3 axis CNC Lathes with Fanuc language controls.
•Must be comfortable with setting the machines for batches of 10-100 before change overs.
•Experience working with a variety of machines would be beneficial.
•Must be able to set machines to the program specifications and ensure the machine runs the batches smoothly and consistently.
•Be able to conduct first off quality checks where appropriate.
•Ability to read engineering drawings is essential.

Workforce are recruiting for a 2-Axis Lathe Programmer / Setter - offering an 8-4:30pm working day and a starting salary of 25,000 per annum DOE with plenty of overtime available - to work for a leading fastener manufacturer in the Wolverhampton area.
Role and Responsibilities:
•Must have experience setting and part-programming 2 axis lathes Fanuc language controls as a minimum.
•Experience with Star, Citizen and/or Doosan machinery is essential.
•Experience working with all grades of material, carbon steel to your super alloys Inconel 718.
•Experience in the production of one-off to 5k batches of fasteners is advantageous.
•Must be able to programme machines based from customer drawing/specifications.
•Be willing to set machines in addition to writing the programmes and be able to run off the batches at a consistent quality.
•Be able to conduct first off quality inspection where appropriate.

Workforce Recruitment are recruiting an experienced tool setter / operator for our client in Wolverhampton. This is a great opportunity to work for a large, modern company with excellent working conditions. Starting temporary, this is an opportunity to gain a full time permanent role with a successful company.
To be considered it is vital to have experienced with setting and operating of the majority of the machines listed below. As well as setting up a machine, it will be expected to run off a work order in an operator's role.

* Bystronic Brake Press
* Mechanical Power Press up to 1000 tonne
* Amada Brake Press

The shift pattern for this role is working double days, both mornings and afternoons, 5:45am - 2:00pm (11.45 noon finish on Fridays) and the following week 2:15pm - 10:30pm (12:00pm - 6:00pm on Fridays) rotating weekly.
The successful candidates will be expected to hit an achievable production target, you can earn up to 15.00 per hour for hitting the maximum.
The pay rates can go up to 15.00 per hour on a piece work incentive when working as an operator, the rate differs dependent on work orders and roles week to week. Expected yearly earnings to be approximately 25,000
